Super soft t-shirt inspired by Fairyland at Lowry Park in Tampa.
Lowry Park Zoo opened in 1957 and shared Lowry Park with Fairyland. Both attractions were free! Initially Fairyland consisted mainly of nursery rhyme and fairy tale themed statues along winding paths, accessed by crossing a rainbow bridge. Over the years rides were added. By the early 80s there was even a small roller coaster and skyride among the other kiddie rides.
In late 1987 the Zoo (including Fairyland) was closed for renovations, but re-opened the following year with more modern facilities. Much of the original Fairyland had been replaced. By 1996 the zoo was set to expand and the remaining Fairyland attractions had aged to unsafe levels. By mid 1997 Fairyland's iconic rainbow bridge had been demolished, its storybook characters figures moved into city storage and amusement park rides auctioned off. In 2018 the zoo's official named was change to ZooTampa at Lowry Park.
