FAQ

The fastest way to get help is by using our FAQs (below). If you still can’t find the answer to your question, please send us an email (with your order #, if you have one) to help@localvyntage.com.

Yes. If you’re not happy with your purchase for any reason, you may return it for a full refund or make an exchange. Returns are always free when you’re sending back your item from within the U.S.

At this time, we cannot accept returns or exchanges from outside the United States. We offer a maximum of one free return or exchange per order.

We accept returns for refund or exchange for up to 60 days after the order date. To be eligible, your item(s) must be in the same condition in which you received them. Please don't send back any items that have been worn (beyond just trying on), stained, damaged, covered in pet hair or have any lasting odors from being in your possession (e.g. smoke, incense, pets).

For free returns and exchanges (within U.S. only), please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at help@localvyntage.com for a free return shipping label. Please include your order number with your request; we’ll reply within 2-3 business days or sooner with a return shipping label for you to print. If you would like to exchange your items(s) for another item(s) of the same or lower price, please let us know which item(s) you would like in exchange. Be sure to include the item name, type (i.e., t-shirt, hoodie), color, and size.
  2. Put the item(s) you are returning back in the original packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, or if you’re sending back only a portion of your order, please use a smaller box or bubble mailer.
  3. Tape the return package closed and tape the return shipping label to the package.
  4. Mail back the box at any U.S. Post Office (United States Postal Service a.k.a. USPS) or hand it to your USPS mail carrier.

If you want to take advantage of our free shipping for returns and exchanges, you’ll need to use a return shipping label provided to you by Local Vyntage via email (see steps above).

If you'd prefer to address your own package and pay for your own return shipping (you will not be reimbursed), you may send you item back to: (BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR ORDER NUMBER WITHIN THE RETURN PACKAGE OR WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY YOUR ORDER)

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll begin processing the exchange or return for refund. If there is any issue with your return we will get in touch via email.

If your return for refund is approved a refund back to your original method of payment will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your account within the typical timeframe.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

We cannot accept returns or exchanges from outside the United States. We offer a maximum of one free return or exchange per order.

We do our best to ship orders within 2-3 business days, but often it’s quicker! Please keep in mind the shipping delivery speed you selected during checkout starts after we’ve packed up your order and shipped it out by handing it off to the carrier (i.e., USPS, UPS).

If during checkout you choose the “Flat Rate Package (3-5 business days)” for $6, or “Free Shipping (3-5 business days)” if you spent $125+, your order will most likely be shipped by USPS Ground Advantage (formerly First Class), UPS Ground Saver, or UPS Surepost depending on the size and weight of the package and the delivery address. You can check your order confirmation email to see which option you chose during checkout. When your order has shipped you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link.

It was sent to the email address you entered during checkout. If you use multiple email addresses, be sure to check all of them. You’ll also want to check all your email folders/tabs, too (e.g. Updates, Promotions).

If your order hasn’t yet been shipped out, we’ll do our best to help you get your shipping address changed. Send us an email to help@localvyntage.com with the correct shipping address and we’ll let you know if we can change it.

Maybe. Please let us know ASAP if you’d like any changes to your order and we’ll do our best to to modify your order before it gets packed up and shipped out. Send us an email to help@localvyntage.com and we’ll let you know if we can help. Worst case scenario, if your order has already been shipped out, returns and exchanges are always easy, free (within the USA only) and no hassle, so you’ll be able to exchange any incorrect items in your order.

Unfortunately, once your order is placed/processed it’s too late to apply a discount code. The good news is that you can probably apply that same discount code to a future order.

All major credit cards, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Facebook Pay.

Yes! At the top of the checkout page, check the box next to "Send this order as a gift." You'll be able to add your gift recipient's name and a gift message.

When your gift recipient receives their order, it will include your gift message and all prices will be hidden.

Yes, and you can purchase them here.

After you purchase a gift card, you will receive a special email including the gift card’s value and a unique gift card code that can be used for a future checkout. You can forward this email on to the intended recipient of the gift card or print out the gift card for the recipient.

No, not at this time. We ship to all U.S. states and territories, as well as to U.S. military bases abroad (i.e., Armed Forces Americas, Europe and Pacific). We can ship your order to any address that includes a U.S. ZIP code.

Unfortunately, no. For now, we are set up to process payments on our website only.

Yes, during checkout you can choose the option to pick-up your order in-store. You can find more information about Local Vyntage retail location(s) here.

All our apparel is designed and produced in the U.S.A.

Maybe. We actively partner with local shops and boutiques where our designs will be recognizable. In other words, if you’re able to select a city on our Choose Location map, there’s a chance you can find our stuff in shops around that area. You can also send us an email at info@localvyntage.com to inquire about your area specifically.

If you don’t see Local Vyntage in your favorite shops, be sure to tell them about us!

Yes! We would love for you to share your suggestion with us. We have lots of great design ideas that we’ve yet to get to, but we’ll sometimes miss some, too. Plus, everyone has their own memories! Email your suggestion to idea@localvyntage.com.

*Please note: When you share a design suggestion with us, you’re doing so out of the goodness of your own heart, and you should not expect anything return if/when we make apparel with that design or a similar design. In other words, by sharing a design suggestion with us, you’re agreeing up front to receive nothing in return. Now, with that legal stuff aside, we’d do our best to hook you up with some free tees.

We’re really not in the business of recommending to our customers where they should or shouldn’t wear Local Vyntage, but we’re always here to help…

Machine was cold. Only non-chlorine beach. Tumble dry low. Low iron. Do not iron decoration (screen print or brand labeling). Do not dry clean.

Tees

Our tees are unisex/men's fit. Most customers say they run true to size.

For most men we recommend their regular men's size, but if they're often between sizes we recommend going with the larger of those two sizes.

For most women we recommend one size smaller than their regular women's fit size, especially if they prefer the fit to be slightly more "fitted" (tighter).

Hoodies

Customers say our hoodies run a full size smaller than expected and therefore a full size smaller than their regular unisex/men's size.

For most men we recommend one size up from their regular men's t-shirt size. Here are some examples:

  • If you're usually size Medium we recommend ordering our size Large hoodies;
  • If you're usually between Medium and Large and prefer a looser fit we recommend ordering our size XL hoodies;
  • If you're usually size XL and order size XL, it will likely be too small for you.

For most women we recommend the same size as your regular women's fit size. Here are some examples:

  • If you're usually women's fit size Medium we recommend ordering our size Medium hoodies;
  • If you're usually between women's fit size Medium and Large and prefer a looser fit we recommend ordering size Large hoodies;
