Super soft t-shirt inspired by Garfinckel's department store.
Garfinckel’s department store first opened in Washington, D.C. in 1905. In 1918, the store moved to its flagship store on 13th and F Streets at the western end of the city's downtown shopping district. Garfinckel’s quickly expanded across the city, becoming known for its high-end merchandise, offering fine clothing, luxury accessories, cosmetics, and home goods that catered to a sophisticated clientele. Despite its success, the chain faced challenges from changing retail trends and competition, leading to its gradual decline and eventual closure in 1990.
50/50 cotton-poly blend. Made and printed in the USA. Velvety Local Vyntage logo on right sleeve. This t-shirt is now tag-less.
We're proud to be sharing Washington, D.C. area memories with you.
Our 50/50 blend (cotton/polyester) tees are unisex/men's fit. Most customers say they run true to size.
For men we recommend their regular men's size. However, if they're between sizes, we recommend going with the larger of those two sizes.
For women we recommend one size smaller than their regular women's size, especially if they prefer the fit to be slightly more "fitted" (tighter).
Our t-shirts are premium quality, medium-weight, 50/50 blends (cotton/polyester), giving them that buttery-soft feel you’re looking for!
