Super soft t-shirt inspired by Boston's "Big Dig" project of the 90s and 2000s.
The Big Dig, a project to reroute the elevated I-93 under Boston and extend the Mass Pike (I-90), started being planned in 1982, but didn’t break ground until 1991. The official name of the project was the Central Artery/Tunnel Project, but due to immense digging required, the nickname “Big Dig” soon caught on and stuck. Originally set to complete in 1998, the Big Dig was finally completed in December of 2007, at the cost of $8.08 billion ($21.5 billion adjusted for inflation).
50/50 cotton-poly blend. Made and printed in the USA. Velvety Local Vyntage logo on right sleeve. This t-shirt is now tag-less.
We're very proud to help you share Massachusetts memories.
Our 50/50 blend (cotton/polyester) tees are unisex/men's fit. Most customers say they run true to size.
For men we recommend their regular men's size. However, if they're between sizes, we recommend going with the larger of those two sizes.
For women we recommend one size smaller than their regular women's size, especially if they prefer the fit to be slightly more "fitted" (tighter).
Our t-shirts are premium quality, medium-weight, 50/50 blends (cotton/polyester), giving them that buttery-soft feel you’re looking for!
