Lifestyle brand debuts designs that capture the culture of founder's childhood home
HARTFORD, Conn.--Local Vyntage, a lifestyle apparel brand dedicated to preserving local culture through nostalgic designs, is expanding its reach with the launch of designs focused on the cities of Hartford and New Haven, Connecticut. The new collection continues to feature premium apparel made, labeled, and screen printed in the United States, that captures the cultural icons and designs that are unique to cities across the nation. The ten designs are now available for purchase online at www.LocalVyntage.com.
Locals may recognize some of the places and faces commemorated in the designs. The collection features tees inspired by The Hartford Civic Center, Jester's Courtyard a.k.a. Burger King Castle, The Crazy Eight, The New Haven Coliseum, Boppers and more.
Local Vyntage was founded in 2016 by Chet Winnicki, when he took a big risk, changed course in his career and decided to follow his passions for nostalgia and lifestyle apparel. Winnicki is a born and bread Nutmegger. He was born at Hartford Hospital, raised in Berlin, Connecticut, and graduated from Berlin High School. He went on to graduate from University of Connecticut at Storrs with his Bachelor’s degree and earned his MBA from Central Connecticut State University.
“What I love most about our brand is the ability it gives customers to build even deeper connections with their hometown,” said Winnicki. “The launch of designs for Hartford and New Haven are so special to me as a native-son and Nutmegger, and now I have a chance to experience the same pride as our customers.”
The brand also features designs that showcase the local flavor of Tallahassee, Fla. and Austin, Texas.
