Super soft t-shirt inspired by Arnie's Place in Westport, CT.
Arnie’s Place opened in 1982, on Post Road East in Westport, Connecticut. Founded by the outspoken businessman Arnie Kaye, the venue offered a "teenaged nirvana" that combined a massive video game arcade with a billiard room, a barbershop, and the neon-soaked Georgie Porgie’s ice cream parlor. The facility was famous for its glitzy, Las Vegas-style interior and its adjacent New York-style international deli. After a twelve-year run defined by constant legal battles with town officials over zoning and "moral" concerns, Arnie’s Place officially closed its doors on September 18, 1994.
50/50 cotton-poly blend. Made and printed in the USA. Velvety Local Vyntage logo on right sleeve. This t-shirt is now tag-less.
We're very proud to help you share arcade memories.
Our 50/50 blend (cotton/polyester) tees are unisex/men's fit. Most customers say they run true to size.
For men we recommend their regular men's size. However, if they're between sizes, we recommend going with the larger of those two sizes.
For women we recommend one size smaller than their regular women's size, especially if they prefer the fit to be slightly more "fitted" (tighter).
Our t-shirts are premium quality, medium-weight, 50/50 blends (cotton/polyester), giving them that buttery-soft feel you’re looking for!
