Super soft t-shirt inspired by the Austin Ice Bats hockey team.
The Austin Ice Bats were established in 1996 as one of the founding members of the WPHL. Named after the famous Mexican free-tailed bats that nest under Austin’s Congress Avenue Bridge, the team became very popular, playing their home games at the Travis County Exposition Center, affectionately known as the "Bat Cave." During their prime, the Ice Bats were a powerhouse, clinching back-to-back regular-season titles in 2002 and 2003 and reaching the championship finals both seasons. The franchise officially ceased professional operations in May 2008, due to the arrival of the AHL team in Cedar Park.
50/50 cotton-poly blend. Made and printed in the USA. Velvety Local Vyntage logo on right sleeve. This t-shirt is now tag-less.
We're very proud to help share Texas memories.
Our 50/50 blend (cotton/polyester) tees are unisex/men's fit. Most customers say they run true to size.
For men we recommend their regular men's size. However, if they're between sizes, we recommend going with the larger of those two sizes.
For women we recommend one size smaller than their regular women's size, especially if they prefer the fit to be slightly more "fitted" (tighter).
Our t-shirts are premium quality, medium-weight, 50/50 blends (cotton/polyester), giving them that buttery-soft feel you’re looking for!
