Started in Connecticut in 1951, Caldor was to be a better discount store: one that would prioritize both quality and fair prices. The idea clearly appealed to consumers because by 1980, the company had expanded over 100 stores!Caldor closed its door in 1999, but the store will forever live on in our memories. Shopping was always a pleasure at Caldor!
What makes this a "Special Edition"? Light Gray is a new color for our Caldor design and we're just not sure yet if we'll make any more in this color after this first batch.
