Hills was founded in 1957 in Youngstown, Ohio by Herbert H. Goldberger. What started as a full-fledged department store became the discount department store we all know in 1964, when Hills was sold to a new parent company. One could find everything from clothes to furniture to toys at Hills for low prices. At its peak there were over 200 Hills locations across the Midwest and Northeastern U.S. Hills was bought by Ames in 1998 and all Hills stores were renamed by the end of 1999.

Our tees are unisex/men's fit. Most customers say they run true to size.
For most men we recommend their regular men's size, but if they're often between sizes we recommend going with the larger of those two sizes.
For most women we recommend one size smaller than their regular women's fit size, especially if they prefer the fit to be slightly more "fitted" (tighter).
All of our t-shirts, with the exception of the "faded yellow" color, are premium quality, medium-weight, 50/50 blends (cotton/polyester), giving them that buttery-soft feel you’re looking for!
