Super soft t-shirt for Jamaica Plain, Mass., but more commonly known as just "JP."
A tee for the neighborhood we call home! Jamaica Plain was founded in 1630 and officially annexed by Boston in 1874, before becoming our new home (and first/only retail shop) in 2020. There’s several theories on where the name Jamaica Plain came from, ranging from it being the best place to drink Jamaican rum in the city, to it coming from a tribal chief who lived in the area. The abbreviation “JP” has been used for the area for as long as anyone can remember. JP is known for its vibrant community, fun events, history, and great food. JP is also home to the oldest arboretum in North America and it was one of the first streetcar suburbs in America! We’re proud to call JP home.

Our 50/50 blend (cotton/polyester) tees are unisex/men's fit. Most customers say they run true to size.
For men we recommend their regular men's size. However, if they're between sizes, we recommend going with the larger of those two sizes.
For women we recommend one size smaller than their regular women's size, especially if they prefer the fit to be slightly more "fitted" (tighter).
Our t-shirts are premium quality, medium-weight, 50/50 blends (cotton/polyester), giving them that buttery-soft feel you’re looking for!
