E. J. Korvette, also known as Korvettes, was founded in 1948 in NYC by Eugene Ferkauf with the help of his friend, Joe Zwillenberg. At the time of its opening, discount department stores were unheard of. Ferkauf went against suggested retail prices and anti-discount statutes, offering huge discounts and membership programs for E.J. Korvette customers. After over 30 years of business, E.J. Korvette closed in 1980.

Our tees are unisex/men's fit. Most customers say they run true to size.
For most men we recommend their regular men's size, but if they're often between sizes we recommend going with the larger of those two sizes.
For most women we recommend one size smaller than their regular women's fit size, especially if they prefer the fit to be slightly more "fitted" (tighter).
All of our t-shirts, with the exception of the "faded yellow" color, are premium quality, medium-weight, 50/50 blends (cotton/polyester), giving them that buttery-soft feel you’re looking for!
