Super soft hoodie inspired by the Old Man of the Mountain in Franconia, NH. It's going to feel like a hug from your childhood teddy bear. Expect this cozy classic to become your new go-to hoodie.
Also known as the “Great Stone Face” and “the Profile,” the Old Man of the Mountain was a natural rock formation perched high on Cannon Mountain overlooking Franconia Notch. Standing 40 feet tall, the iconic profile gave the mountain its original name—Profile Mountain—long before skiers began carving down the trails on the other side. First documented in 1805, he became New Hampshire's defining symbol, an important figure in Indigenous history, and a landmark on state highway signs. The Old Man collapsed in May 2003, but to us, he will always watch over the Notch.
Fit Tips:
- For men, choose your regular t-shirt size;

Tri-blend. Made and printed in the USA. Velvety Local Vyntage logo on right sleeve.
We're very proud to help you share New England memories.
This tri-blend hoodie is unisex/men's fit. Customers say it fits true to size. While customers say most of our hoodies run a full size smaller than expect, this particular hoodie does not run small.
For men we recommend their regular men's size. However, if they're between sizes, we recommend going with the larger of those two sizes.
For women we recommend one size smaller than their regular women's size, especially if they prefer the fit to be slightly more "fitted" (tighter).
Our hoodies are premium tri-blends (50% Polyester, 37% Combed Ring Spun Cotton, 13% Rayon), giving them an ultra-soft feel you'll never want to take off.
