Super soft t-shirt inspired by Pay 'n Save drugstores.
Pay ‘n Save was founded in 1940 in Seattle, Washington on Fourth Ave. and Pike Street. Offering pharmacy and other general merchandise, Pay ‘n Save became a leading drug store with over 3000 locations across about a dozen states at its peak. Because of the success of the drug store, Pay ‘n Save’s founder, Monte Lafayette Bean, soon became interested in expanding into other markets, leading to the acquisition of Ernst Home Centers, and Sportswest stores, among several others. Eventually these subsidiaries were sold off and Pay ‘n Save was acquired by PayLess Drug Stores in 1992, which rebranded all of the stores.
50/50 cotton-poly blend. Made and printed in the USA. Velvety Local Vyntage logo on right sleeve. This t-shirt is tag-less.
We're proud to be sharing drug store memories with you.
Our tees are unisex/men's fit. Most customers say they run true to size.
For most men we recommend their regular men's size, but if they're often between sizes we recommend going with the larger of those two sizes.
For most women we recommend one size smaller than their regular women's fit size, especially if they prefer the fit to be slightly more "fitted" (tighter).
All of our t-shirts, with the exception of the "faded yellow" color, are premium quality, medium-weight, 50/50 blends (cotton/polyester), giving them that buttery-soft feel you’re looking for!
