Super soft t-shirt inspired by Tampa Stadium.
The Big Sombrero, opened in 1967, was the former home stadium of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Aside from sporting events, Tampa Stadium hosted many large concerts, including Led Zeppelin in 1973, which at the time set the record for largest audience (57,000) to ever see a single artist. The Tampa Bay Rowdies (soccer), Bandits (football/USFL) and Mutiny (soccer) also called Tampa Stadium home, as did the University of South Florida and University of Tampa college football teams. The Big Sombrero also hosted Super Bowls in 1984 and 1991.
In 1998 the Bucs' new facility, Raymond James Stadium, was built in Tampa Stadium's parking lot. The Big Sombrero was demolished in 1999.
50/50 cotton-poly blend. Made and printed in the USA. Velvety Local Vyntage logo on right sleeve. This t-shirt is tag-less.
We're very proud to help you share Tampa memories.
Our tees are unisex/men's fit. Most customers say they run true to size.
For most men we recommend their regular men's size, but if they're often between sizes we recommend going with the larger of those two sizes.
For most women we recommend one size smaller than their regular women's fit size, especially if they prefer the fit to be slightly more "fitted" (tighter).
All of our t-shirts, with the exception of the "faded yellow" color, are premium quality, medium-weight, 50/50 blends (cotton/polyester), giving them that buttery-soft feel youβre looking for!
