Super soft t-shirt inspired by the WCCC-FM radio frequency in greater Hartford, CT.
WCCC 106.9 FM officially launched on June 7, 1960, in Hartford, founded by local jeweler Bill Savitt with the slogan "We Cover Connecticut's Capital." The station offered everything from progressive and active rock to its famous "Planet of Sound" live acoustic sessions. At its peak, "The Rock" was a cultural institution for generations of New Englanders, known for its irreverent DJs, "All Request" format, and sister AM station that broadcast rock in the early years, before switching to classical music. The station’s rock era officially ended on August 1, 2014, when its parent company sold the frequencies.
50/50 cotton-poly blend. Made and printed in the USA. Velvety Local Vyntage logo on right sleeve. This t-shirt is now tag-less.
We're very proud to help you share Connecticut memories.
Our 50/50 blend (cotton/polyester) tees are unisex/men's fit. Most customers say they run true to size.
For men we recommend their regular men's size. However, if they're between sizes, we recommend going with the larger of those two sizes.
For women we recommend one size smaller than their regular women's size, especially if they prefer the fit to be slightly more "fitted" (tighter).
Our t-shirts are premium quality, medium-weight, 50/50 blends (cotton/polyester), giving them that buttery-soft feel you’re looking for!
