Child World was founded in 1962 in Quincy, Massachusetts. The toy store quickly became a favorite amongst children and parents alike, offering great toys at value prices. In 1975, Child World acquired Children’s Palace, allowing the company to expand across the U.S. At its peak it had over 180 stores. Due to financial challenges, all Child World and Children’s Palace stores were rebranded or closed by 1992.
Fit Tips:
- For men, choose one size up from your regular t-shirt size;
- For ladies, consider ordering the same size as your regular women’s t-shirt size.

Customers say our hoodies run a full size smaller than expected and therefore a full size smaller than their regular unisex/men's size.
For men we recommend one size up from their regular men's t-shirt size. Examples:
- If you're usually size Medium we recommend ordering our size Large hoodies;
- If you're usually between Medium and Large and prefer a looser fit we recommend ordering our size XL hoodies;
- If you're usually size XL and order size XL, it will likely be too small for you.
For most women we recommend the same size as your regular women's size. Examples:
- If you're usually women's size Medium we recommend ordering our size Medium hoodies;
- If you're usually between women's size Medium and Large and prefer a looser fit we recommend ordering size Large hoodies;
- If you're usually women's size XL and order size Large, it will likely be too small for you.
Our hoodies are premium tri-blends (50% Polyester, 37% Combed Ring Spun Cotton, 13% Rayon), giving them an ultra-soft feel you'll never want to take off.
